Hey peeps I could do with some advice on travel insurance if anyones willing to oblige Smile I'm travelling for the first time on my own (just within europe) I recently split with my fiancee thanks to his inability to keep it to himself if you catch my gist. I thought a good thing to do would be to have a couple of weeks away and try to get the whole thing out of my system. I'm probably going to catch a late availability within spain somewhere and want to sort some travel insurance out also as we used to have a policy for a couple. I've been having a look round and whilst i consider myself to be quite internet savvy I'm not much of an expert when it comes to travel insurance and not quite sure i want to be lol. I've been looking through the moneysupermarket site as they have holidays on there too Smile on their page http://www.moneysupermarket.com/travelinsurance/ they come up with a policy for only £10 (single trip) which is fine for travel within europe. That sounds brilliant the only thing is i've not heard of the company flexidirect, has anyone used them before? If not are there any companies anyone can recommend Smile

Hi jonseygirl,

Congrats on undertaking your first trip, bet you can't wait! Travelling is amazing, and Europe is a great place to start. Shame to hear about your ex, but you better off without him!

For travel, Columbus insurance rock! They have a single or annual trip policy, and cover high altitude and extreme sports. Cover is moderately priced, but they do an stella job. I got robbed at knife point in India this year and they were amazing!

Good luck with the travels, drop me a line if you need more advice.

James.

I think once you're in Spain, you can't miss barcelona and tenerife . They are all unforgettable places to visit and I'd love to go back for awhile. If you're in Barcelona be sure to check out the Picasso museum as well and I think the best way to get around Spain is by train, and you can see the beautiful scene along the way.
Have a good trip in Spain!
