Freshman Year: Raped and Scared of Pregnancy

Hello - I'm 18 years old and a freshman in college. I have never been sexually active except the 8th of September I was raped without the use of protection. My last period was the last week of August and so far haven't started yet. I have a history in my family of easy conception (my grandmother, mother, and myself were all conceived on the first try) and am afraid that I am now pregnant. Some of the symptoms I have include more frequent urination, EXTREME fatigue (i sleep up to 15 hours a day), itchy boobs, I've recently gained weight (although I am a freshman in college... though I do not drink alcohol) and a few others that aren't quite as prevalent but have happened. I took a pregnancy test today (October 1st) and it came up negative, although the test expired in July (my RA had an extra). I am scheduled to see a gyno on the 16th but am incredibly nervous already. Am I pregnant???

hi there, the best thing to do if you cant wait till you go to see the doctor is to go and get a test from boots...
you sound as though you have got all the symptons of been pregnant, and obviously the most common sympton is a missed period. it sounds to me that you are pregnant but to be 100% get another test. i am soooo sorry to hear about your awful ordeal.

Have you started your period yet? If not have you taken any more pregnancy tests? If they have come up negative you could be late from all the stress you've been under. Just thinking you may be pregnant could cause you to be late. I was over 2 weeks late back in the spring and was convinced I was pregnant, took a test and started my period 2hours later.

I would suggest getting some counseling for rape survivors especially if you are pregnant.

Gosh, i'm saddened to hear of your story, I do hope you reported the situation as difficult as that would be.
