At the beginning of February I am heading off to see the sights of Japan for one month.

On my way over there, I have a 12 hour stopover in Singapore from 10pm to 10am. The airline has supplied me with a 3-star hotel room and transfers to and from the hotel and all that, but seeing as I have never been to Singapore before, I'd like to try and see as much as I can manage in my few short hours there.

Taking into account general airport sillyness, I estimate ill have somewhere between 6 and 8 hours to make a whirlwind sightseeing visit.

Can anyone recommend anything I should do? Also note that it will be in the middle of the night, which will somewhat limit my options!
