How long does it normally take for the pill to be 100% out of your system?

Hi Gems!!! It can take up to a year for your body to settle back down after the pill. In the mean time:

*you should start taking folic acid,
*make sure you are both eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg (5 a day),
*cut right down on alcohol,
*give up smoking,
*and if your cycles are regular, have sex in the middle of you cycle...but the best thing to do is have sex every other day as it gives the sperm a chance to recover!
*You could also try lying on your back for 10-30 minutes after sex to help the sperm stay around your cervix.

Most of all...relax....and have fun!!! Laughing

Good luck, and let us know what happens xxx

OMG...I seriously think you need to sit down with your partner, and tell him that you are not ready!! What if you did fall pregnant? There's not much communication between you two anyway! Shocked Wouldn't it wreck your life? At 22 there is quite a few more things to life than having baby, but he's 28, so he's probably more ready than you!!!

You should just tell him!!! Good luck x Laughing
