Is there a list stating which countries have Nuclear weapons. I know we took ours appart just before Mandela became President.
If America is the country who disarms Europe etc, who gets to disarms America ?

Ah but see here is where the question lies, if we go the route every one should have nuclear weapons or no one should have it then would you be saying the same thing if adolf hitler was still alive? The question is whether or not the world trusts such a government to have nuclear weapons. Life isn't suppose to be fair and for good reason (IE hitler).

The difference with the USA and Saddam is that the USA can account for all of its nuclear weapons and the UN pretty much knows where they are and USA was not a signature of the npt.

Also the USA government is still on track to cut its nuclear weapons arsenal by half by 2012(can't remember the exact year but I know its around there.). So if your complaining that USA shouldn't be allowed to have nuclear weapons well your getting your wish because we are getting rid of them.

So then what is the justification for america going and supposdly disarming the Iraqi wmd program is that Saddam was in violation of several UN agreements and also technically if he had a wmd program that was active that would make it illegal according to the UN based upon one of the agreements and one of the punishments for violating that UN agreement was the use of force.

Because there were other primary objectives besides just wmd, they used the wmd justification because that was the only justification that was legal in terms of UN, the other justifications were to get rid of saddam and set up a democratic government which would help add more influence in this region for america, oil could be one reason but then again the oil grade that iraq has makes it oil absolutely worthless for american refineries so it is hard to see how american government would really benefit from it, the only way america would benefit from it is through the oil companies while at the same time getting india and china to buy the lower grade oil and not the higher grade oil that USA buys thus hoping to bring the price down of gas.

Same as in any context - suggesting that something might exist just becuase noone's proven it doesn't would be one those fallacies you're always talking about.
