Hi Nat...think it's just me'n'u babe!!! Laughing Cool

I had first scan at 7 weeks because I had been bleeding on christmas day, and everything was fine, so had next scan as normal at 12+1. You usually have a scan at around 12 weeks, and then again at 20 weeks. Not too long to go, it'll go quick. See....nearly 2 months already? Laughing

I wasn't actually sick, just felt sick when I didn't eat, and then I never knew what I fancied. Used to gag something terrible when ever I brushed my teeth. Felt shattered a lot, and slept all I could. Didn't feel like doing the housework, which became very neglected, and then around 14 weeks, suddenly lifted like a fog! Felt brilliant ever since. Have got away lightly so far! HTH xxxx Laughing

Hi Everyone! I haven't been getting reply notices so I wasn't aware there was action going on here! Wink

Glad you preggo ladies are doing well! I love hearing about what's going on so I hope you update lots!

Niklas and I are keeping busy. Two mornings a week we have "meetings". One is a playgroup where we let our babies play naked. It's great fun and I've mastered the "towel technique" so that I only came home with wet pants once Laughing Wink And we are also in a baby swim class which is also really fun.

Here's a link to another video of Niklas enjoying his excersaucer:

Wow! Amber, he isn't a baby at all anymore! Don't they grow up way toooooo fast?! He was such a cute baby and is now such a handsome little boy! Thanks for sharing those pics (to put a pic link here, I always upload pictures into a picture website such as photobucket and then just post the link to the pic here).

Here's another little video clip of what Niklas has started doing yesterday. If feels like he's doing it to drive me nuts!!! Confused Laughing

MY GOD CHERYLE....you neighbours must think he's such a tortured child!!! Shocked Laughing It looks like great fun though! Sometimes, you know, you just feel like having a bit of a scream!!! That really made me laugh!!! Laughing

And Ambers....your (not so) little MAN is so beautiful too!!! He looks so wise!!! He's got a really wise little face, and those cheeks.....Ooooohhhhh!!! Razz Just wanna grab 'em!

Well, girls...almost 24 weeks now, and getting a little large! Getting real kicks, and punches now all of the time. Can't believe it is going so quick, and summer is nearly here....(looks out of window at black sky, thunder and lightening....oh, and now here comes the pooring rain Rolling Eyes !) Evil or Very Mad

Mr ODN taking me out for a posh meal this Saturday, so went out yesterday and bought a maternity evening dress so I don't look like I'm wearing a potato sack! He keeps saying we won't be able to do this for much longer, and to make the most of it. Will take some more pics of bump when I'm all glammed up, and not wondering around in jogging bottoms (but, oh so comfy! Elasticated is the way forward!!! Very Happy ) and scruffy tops! Good to hear and see little updates.....BIG Big Hug

xxxxxxx

Cheryle, I just wanted to pick him up and squeeze him...he is desperate to communicate isn't he .... I want one Wink

Thanks for the lovely comments, he is a bit of a flirt with the ladies already, gives the smile and flashes his lashes....then he toddles off wriggling his bottom and waving his hands in the air (much like a little chimp). I have to say girls, motherhood at this stage is brilliant - hard work still but really rewarding. We sit and read books, do puzzles, draw together...then play hide and seek ...he screams in glee when he finds me (usually in the same place) I am shattered tho....!!!! Lack of any decent sleep...he likes to wake up for the day between 5.30 and 600am. Get as much sleep as possible before your little ones arrive.

I really cant wait to see your newborn pictures...have you any inkling of the sex? Do you have any names that you are considering?

Miss chatting...shame we don't have a little private forum we could post on really.

Till next time xxxx

Ambers...more than happy to pm you my e-mail addy so we can all keep in touch. Loving the thought of little Alexander wriggling off waving his hands....made me laugh Laughing My best mates son is 2 (our Godson), and he's so adorable. His bum needed changing and his Mum picked him up...he said "No Mummy, Aunty Lou do it!", so that was it then....I got all the good jobs. I have quickly corrected my friend when she was saying I can't wait to be the Aunty who cuddles your child....I said no fair..she is also on nappy duty! Twisted Evil

I have been saying "He" since the minute we found out, but did go through a stage about a month ago, where we were convinced we having a girl. Either way, it is our first, so much wanted it doesn't matter at all. Think Mr ODN would like a boy, for the sake of football (supporting same team as Daddy, playing in the garden, etc), and I think there are such pretty dresses, etc on the market for girls....will defo have a girly girl if it's a girl! Who knows....we have to wait and see! Very Happy Nice surprise!

And we really like Hadyn James for a boy, and Caitlyn Mae for a girl....decided those names at 8 weeks pregnant, going through the names book once sitting up in bed one evening! Speaking of whic...just popped to a friends house for dinner, and it is most definately bedtime!!! Nighty night girls xxxxxx Laughing

ODN- I love the names! (especially James as a second name Wink ) I'm curious whether you're having a boy since you've been saying "he". I found that I seemed to have a "feeling" each time and that feeling was right!

Ambers- he must look so cute when he flirts! That is just too sweet!! Laughing

I'm so happy for all our pregnant mommies here! It sounds like things are going good for all of you! Very Happy

Ziggy where are you????

Hi girls. Didn't go out last night, as my poorly Grandad died yesterday morning. Crying or Very sad He has been in and out of hospital for the last few months, and he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last week, and just deteriorated so quickly. The last couple of days, he was in and out of conciousness, and on a morphine pump, and he just fell asleep and didn't wake up.
All he kept saying to me was you look after that baby, and myself, and he was worried about ruining the birth if he was really poorly (Silly bugger!). He had had enough of being prodded and poked, and didn't want any treatment, so he decided that he would keep his dignity, and he just wanted to be kept comfortable. Friday afternoon, he told us all he loved us, and he was proud of my Dad (his only child) and he thanked my Mum for looking after him for all these years, and then he said he loved my Nan, and then he fell asleep, and probably didn't regain conciousness again. That is exactly what he wanted.
I feel so sad, and miss him like crazy already, and grief keeps coming over me in waves Crying or Very sad . Ironically, baby was most active yesterday, as if to remind me that there is life still growing inside of me, even though one has just ended. Ohhh..tearful again, so off to find Mr ODN for cuddles!!! Sorry, it's been so happy on here for a while now! Will write soon xxxx
