Uggs over or new classic fashion?

Postby Guest12 on Fri Dec 31, 2004 8:28 am

I for one couldn't afford the Uggs when they first emerged and have just bought myself a new pair. I was very excited to finally get them because I think they are adorable, but it seems as though they've been worn by so many that now it is just seen as bad to be seen in them. I don't need to be a trend-setter, but I don't want to be a mindless drone either. Any opinions?

I think they're quite cool, but everyone seems to have them so everywhere I look there are uggs. I bought some calf boots which are the same sort of style but have a little bit more shape to them, I think any ugg style boots look great.

i just got my first pair at christmas and i love them. they are soo comfortable. if your really worried just wear your jeans over your boots instead of tucked in, but as long as you update the rest of your look what difference does it make? If you've got different accesories to make a statement with most people will just be jealous that you look great and your feet aren't in agony!

Ugg boots no no

I don't like them. Why? Because it seems that everyone has a pair. They are a God-send for girls who have chunky legs, because they only reveal a small amount of flesh with a skirt on. But other than that, they're yesterday's news.

uggs are instyle

They are instyle, celebs still wear them. but, they are a classic. they show true wealth though, if you have the real ones. i have 2 real pairs and 1 fake pair (for the slush) they are very warm and cozy.

Ok 2 Points:
1. You don't need to wear socks
2. You don't need to wear socks.

I think I've made my point. For those that can never find their socks these are worth there weight in gold.

Ugg's have literally been around (although they have evolved somewhat) for hundreds of years... They are or were the flavour of the month but they'll be back and in the meantime daggy Australian mums will continue to love them..

P.S. Check out http://www.myplaza.com.au/site_mp.asp?p=wpa-1100&r=cat-1598 These are authentic Australian uggs, not factory made synthetic stuff... And their wholesale too so price is pretty good.

Just because they are "in fashion" doesn't mean they look good. Because they don't. They look very clumpy and make your legs look fat and your feet look big.
