It's only body hair! What is the big deal! If you are a guy and you like the look and feel of a smooth shaved body, then go for it; and if you don't like the look and feel of a smooth shaved body, then don't shave, it is your personal choice.
Having said that, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Remember, opinions are like assholes, eveyone has one. If you have positive comments, share them, if they are negative then keep them to yourself. Where is it your right to belittle someone by laughing at them because they shave, not matter their age?!
BTW, I shave my body from the neck down, and yes my pubic region is shaved as well. I haven't shave in a few months and have scheduled a full body waxing next week. Looking forward to my first full body waxing experience.
I'm Asian so I'm not hairy. I don't have hairy arms, chest, back. But I still shave my pits and trim my pube for hygiene reason. I do use hair removal cream on buttcrack but it's not maintained regularly. I just love to have a smooth body.

Women,
I could use your advice on gruming. I'm headed to the beach in a month and wonder if girls find it sexy when guys shave their armpits (like the bodybuilders)? I've never done this and probably won't, but is it a turnon, or do girls just prefer the more manly hairy armpits?

If you are a big, straight stud, it is OK to shave your armpits and legs because you will still be appealing to most of the girls.
If you are a professional wrestler, you can do it because it has been their practice for the last 3 decades.
If you are a bicycle racer or swimmer you can do it because they have been for the last 4 decades.
If you are a competition bodybuilder, you can do it because they have for the last 6 decades.
If you are an openly gay man, it is 100% OK.
If you are none of the above and don't care that some people will think you are gay, then it is OK.
Every man should experience shaving their body at least once in their life.
I believe most will not because they are afraid they will like it and know they will have to keep it up.
Myself, I love the look and feeling, so I have decided to give up shaving and have scheduled a full body wax. Had my back wax before and person doing the waxing was a total knockout. Now that I am going for a full body wax, gives me an excuse to show off my c*ck to her. Can't wait to feel her hands on it as she waxes me!

One ignorant fool makes blanket declarations of homosexuality. Maybe there's a Republican/Democrat correlation, as well. Or a religious affiliation. Racial. That's the one. Only blah-blah shave their pits.

I have shaved my legs a number of times. It feels totally amazing. I especcially like to wear a pair of pantyhose and panties when I shave. Again, the feeling is totally amazing and the sex fantastic. Now you may think this is a homosexual activity, but you would be wrong. Most men who engage in cross-dressing behavior are not gay. They are in fact heterosexual. You can check this reference in the DSMVII Manual of Psychological Disorders. These men, myself included, have an overwhelming urge to experience what it feels like to be a woman. They do not fantasise about having sex with men, rather the wish to have sex with a woman while they are dressed as a woman. This is a type of psedo lesbian sexual encounter. And why not, woman are totally amazing creatures, and a robust curiousity about them is completetly healthy.

So you say that it is normal behavior for men to desire experiencing what it feels like to be a woman?
er... i trim my pubes, cos it gets sweaty and stinky.
I shave my face cos i dont want a beard,
And i use bodyspray, so i dont have to shave my armpits.
Isn't all this male feminism going a little overboard, next we'll be wearing pink dresses and the women will have beards.
Fair enough if thats what you want, i dont - thankq:)

Allison, This is a great question. Normal is a relative term. What is normal for me may be be completely unacceptable to another person. By societies standards, the desire for a man to have feminie experiences is not normal. Men and woman have been drummed into their respective roles for aeons and thats all there is to that: however, at some point on our spiritual journey we begin to question the roles that we learned as we grew up. Any deviations to far from these sociatal norms are subversive and dangerious. That said, a human being is really a composite of the anima amd animus (Male AND Female). The desire to experience, and unite both of these vital energies is natural to me, and I think natural to a person who is in touch with their true self. It really is more about self-actualization than sex. Some people would have us belive that feminization of males, or masculinity in females, has gone to far. It's not my intent to be the judge of that matter. I just want to experience all that I am, and not be limited by the roles programmed into my personality. Talking about this to you is in a sense a type of theriputic relationship. I can honest share about my desire to have feminie experiences without the social stigma attached to this type of exploratory behavior. Thanks for being you.

Just could not let this constant ignorant comment go on... Many and most GAY men do NOT shave their pits! Where have you been living under a rock 75 years ago? I know many gay men and it is the straight men, who shave their legs and pits, esp. the bike guys. Wake up and smell the coffee. Hello!!!
