Never made fennel goulash.
It's not hot at all, it's very refreshing and sweet.
Do you like celery? It's like celery but much tastier. I've just eaten a complete fennel bulb. What a gannet.
It's good, sliced thinly (uncooked) and added to salads.  |

| Sorry, I was distracted by a discussion about vacuum cleaners! I'm not a fan of celery apart from cooked. I like fennel very much but have never eaten it raw. |

I like it cooked, then I tasted it raw. I must admit I tend to eat it raw more often than use it any cooked dishes now. Try it. I think you may be pleasantly surprised. |
