So it would appear that underqware is now most deffinatly an optional item which an increasing number of people opt out of. A bit like having pubic hair really.
For more views have a look at http://www.misterpoll.com/2012573541.html
Looks like the summer (if we ever get one) way to go is skirts, no knickers and shaved.
I suppose the next issue is a what age is it acceptabel for us girls to choose our pubic hair style and underware choice? And for that matter blokes as well.
Looking at the polls and message board shaved is now the norm for teens from purberty onwards. My parents never said anything either way mind you they gave me my privacy and therfore stopped seeing me naked before it became an issue.
As for a not wearing knickers it seems common but hidden from parents which was my experience. |

Hi shavenbush
I don't think there is an age limit to being shaven & not wearing knickers, many older women find it very liberating. As for wearing skirts, the more the better, so many women seem to be welded into thier jeans & black trousers now days, very boring. |

Yes, especially ill fitting ones, mainly too tight under the arms! Cuts of your circulation. There is as many pro's as there is cons in whethere a bra should be worn or not. If you are 'big' and dont wear a bra, it can cause you pain, even in your back. I usually only go bra-less around the house, rarely outdoors. I'm not really bothered about going out without, it's just a force of habit. Bra's give me confidence, but I also enjoy the freedom of going without.
I have more than one formal dress that gives enough support to not have to wear one. |

| I don't know all the terms and names of ladies clothes, but aren't there tops that have supports built in? Like tank tops that have support shelfs sewn in? That would provide the comfort and support, with the constricting problems of a regular bra, wouldn't it? if so, why aren't more top styles utilizing this so women can opt out of the bra thing, and have that extra tool to prevent breast cancer? A little help on names and top styles would help in my understanding... |

Moira,
May I suggest that you read the topics on the going braless site (google for "going braless") as it has a lot of useful information and mythbusting information on the site and also has a supportive forum?
This has been a public information bulletin *grin* |

That place has been a haggle zone for some time, English Gent. I used to read there....got to political for what it was intended for. Not that discussion of other topics is a bad thing, but it seemed it got way off the topic of going braless and more into personal agendas, politics, and trolling. |

Nightman50 I was more thinking at the younger end of the age range rather than an upper limit. I do agree with you that there should be no limit it is a persoanl lifestyle thing rather than somthing that is dictated by others.
As for going braless i know a woman who is in her late 40's and never wears a bra she must be at least a D cup if not bigger and whilst they may sit a bit lower than if they were in a bra the way they move is far more erotic than any bra clad boobs i have ever seen. I have never spotted a VPL either so who know may she is commando as well. |

| I never wear a bra - in fact don't even own one. knickers just opitional, depends on mood,when/where etc. I agree that puberty onwards is the time for styling or removing pubic hair. Friends' younger sisters shave it off as soon as it starts to grow from our discussions. Must be a whole heap of smooth teen comandos on the loose...lol! |

| Bra I believe should be optional as one may want to be a little showy - or just lazy. Undies however I think are a good idea to mop up some of the dampness that may 'show' through your pants and for modesty when in skirts - its not really sexy when your bush is someone's face; a little imagination goes a long way. |
