Hi everyone,
I'm going crazy! I had pink discharge on Sunday and very slight brown discharge ever since (sorry, this is gross) but not even enough to make it to a pantyliner.
Now, Sunday was 8 days post ovulation; so that seemed about right for implantation bleeding. Today is 10 dpo so I thought "well, maybe I'll do a wee test . . " (sorry ODN but I had to!) and it was negative. I'm gutted because it was one of the very sensitive ones (10miu) and I was hoping to see a very faint line . . .
So now I've been torturing myself by looking up "implantation bleeding" and "brown discharge" and "how early can I test" etc etc!
Aaaaaarrrggggghh . . . I am dreading the thought of getting my period and having to go through all this over and over again - I feel like giving up! |

Ziggy- I had been charting so I knew exactly when I ovulated and got a temperature dip (Implantation dip) at 7 DPO plus had quite a bit of cramping on 7 DPO which I assume was implantation cramping. I then tested at 10 DPO with a 10ml test and got a very faint positive.
If you had implantation symptoms at 8 DPO, it might be a day or two too early even for a 10ml test... test again at 12 DPO! (Remember though that HCG levels rise at different rates for each person and each pregnancy...blah blah blah... the same old thing, everyone is different, each pregnancy is different... sorry ) |

| ...and just to add, I didn't get a postitive until 14 DPO and even then it was so faint that we dismissed it at first. |

oooo oooo ooooo!!!!! i'm hoppping from foot to foot with excitment!!!!
well just cos it was negative, that doesn't mean too much yet. give it another couple of days, cos as long as you don't have your period then there's still a chance!!
oh i have everything crossed for you!! and will make my two girls do the same!!
i know you're worried it will amount to nothing, but try not to worry about it just yet, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
good luck! |

Awww thanks everyone! I feel much better now!
I think I'm just more hopeful than I've ever been, so the potential for crushing disappointment is huge! I'm also worried because I have no other pregnancy symptoms at all - the sore nips turned out to be chafing ( seriously need to start wearing a bra . . !) and I have no nausea, no cramps, no tiredness, nothing.
You lot are fab - I really love you all . . . sniff!
I'm gonna make me and hubby a lovely dinner, forget about it, and test again on Thursday! XXX |

i said to you before ziggy, with my first i had loads of syptoms, but with my second none at all until i found out at 6/7 weeks, and this time was somewhere in between. there's nothing to say you'll get any syptoms, some peeps don't, or maybe you'll get some a bit further on. don't give up hope yet!!
glad you're feeling a bit more positive. |

Hi everyone, I tested this morning with one of the ultra-sensitive tests, and nothing. Surely at 12dpo I'd see a very faint line if I were pregnant? I squinted at it for ages but there was definitely no second line.
I know in my heart I'm not pregnant, which I can accept (just), what I'm worried about now is the whole can of worms which this strange bleeding/discharge has opened up. What is that all about?!
I'm so sick of this. I'm very down this morning because like I said earlier, this is the most hopeful (and the most terrified) I've ever been so I'm super-disappointed. |

Ziggy...sending you a
Am so sorry honey! I feel your disappointment
I wonder if the bleeding started as implantation, but didn't quite take! Also, it is not a period yet! Please don't give up hope...did you read what I wrote on pg 16 in "Husband Rebelling"?
I know there is nothing we can say to console you...just that you are not alone xxxx |

awww Ziggy
I don't know what to advise you... it's always so horrible with the 2 week wait... the only thing you can do, is test again in a couple of days if AF doesn't arrive. My fingers are still crossed for you! |
