Should cannabis be legalised

Personally, I feel cannbis should and alcohol shouldn't. To a certain extent. For example, owning mass amounts and buying black market cannabis should be illegal. But I feel it should be a product sold by licensed seller, and it can be smoked in private residence.

Image the tax we could rake in as well!

What do you guys think?

With you all the way on that one. Canabis being illegal criminalises millions of responsible users who do society no harm and themselves very little. Why shouldn't i have the right to grow a couple of plants on my windowsill and enjoy the results in the privacy of my own home?

It certainly shouldn't be smoked in public, but then i don't believe any smoking should be allowed in public.

A bag of pot costs maybe 10quid. It doesn't hurt you to buy it any more than it would hurt you to buy and consume a couple of pints at the pub. Ok. You can also go to jail and pay a fine and have a criminal record. So what do you do when you get caught? You run, get scared, maybe hurt someone and incrediably some people actually get killed. All this over a freaking bag of pot. Legalize the crap!
