Ship them out. They disgust me. If I lived somewhere like Birmingham, I'd probably go postal with a machine gun.

I wouldnt move to birmingham. You may actually meet someone from another culture/religeon whom you find it hard not to actually like and respect. Wouldnt want you to shatter your own illusions Rolling Eyes

I actually lived in Birmingham and the sad thing about it is that it is segregated - the white people live in one area, the blacks in another and the Asians in another. I am no expert, but I used to notice the different 'coloured' bus stops in the town centre. Oh and yes, I met plenty of Muslims in Birmingham, most of whom I respected and admired immensely.

Yep its great isnt it. Our own little aparteid. I'm no expert either but I really wish that people would stop listening to propaganda and judging an entire clump of people by the actions of a few. White people (definitely the british) have been oppressors for generations, im sure its about time that we really thought about what we were saying and started to learn a little, as opposed to following historical and present hype like sheep.

The superiority some people hold over others (most of whom are just genuinely just trying to get through life in the best way they can) is way beyond my understanding - thank god.

A good attribute IMO.
They put themselves on higher plane of living over the hedonistic desires of a secular society!

Let's face it... you can't argue that a chimpanzee isn't secular!

I for one... know I'm not just a hairless ape!
Are you?

Problem is, some of them want to enforce it on the rest of us by any possible means.

THAT is the problem.

Just like we enforce a capitalist democratic model in, for example, Iraq. At least the Muslim population of the UK didn't all roll in at once with tanks and bombs.

It's always going to happen, I fear - people tend to 'clump' with others they feel they are associated with or have a common background to. It's just like going to the pub with all your mates and noticing, halfway through the night that all the blokes are stood together having one conversation and all the women are in a seperate group talking about something else.

The most important thing is to ensure that none of these ethnically focussed areas is allowed to become deprived - that's the killer. Young black males in the UK are significantly more likely to brush with the law than their white counterparts but that obviously has sod all to do with race - it's just a knock on from the fact that historic exclusion has meant many black communities are economically screwed - and when that happens, you are left with disaffected, disenfranchised and desperate people.

Then, of course, you need to ensure that people are educated with respect to these groups, their beliefs and their history - ignorance is a mighty dangerous thing.

As someone mentioned earlier, I too have been a little concerned over the tone the BBC has been taking over the last couple of years - it really is significantly more emotive than it has been and the same is true of it's radio output as well. Hopefully there is time to check this slippage before it causes too much harm.

I wonder why they stay here if they don't want to integrate?

Ahh I see what you mean, cause we make them feel really welcomed don't we? And the people who appear different but were born here are given the same instant respect we give without thinking to white british people (yeh right!). We arn't in anyway responsible for issues of segregation and we're not at all frightened of what appears different to us? We are superior, deserve their respect and quite frankly should 'force' them to live a way 'we' think is right? Rolling Eyes

Nice way of thinking Hitler lol.

Maybe we should train them from infants. We could tell them how bad the quoran is, train them how to dress properly - in a way we see fit of course and maybe just maybe we could start dyeing their skin from birth? Hopefully 20 years from now there will only be a few of the old school left and we won't be able to tell anyone under 20 apart from anyone else. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Unfortunately I don't think this will stop. It's all very one-sided. People used to revere the BBC for being neutral, but now it's known for being totally biased unfortunately. Watch Al Jazeera and you will be amazed at what they you don't get to see on BBC Shocked (of course Al Jazeera has it's own agenda but the camera doesn't lie Sad )

Muslim does not mean 'foreigner' or 'immigrant on support'. There are plenty of British tax paying Muslims. Come to think of it, Muslims have to give 2.5% of their wealth to charity once a year, on top off the 40% odd tax on income.

Do you know what - I have actually got to the point where I am fed up of having this conversation.

Please forgive my rather patronising tone - but perhaps the case is that people should either think of the meaning of words like integrate and not pay too much heed to notions of foreigner and Brit. The reason is your government doesn't - the business world doesn't either - in fact I personally doubt whether they really give a S*** about those notions because what it boils down to whether you are British or not (Through an accident of birth) is whether you are useful in political terms or financial terms.

You see I cannot get the idea out of my head (And perhaps it's just the world driving me slowly insane) that there are people who are living the life of Reilly getting rich off our efforts - laughing their heads off at the confidence trick they have pulled on all of us - conning us into thinking that the foreigners are to blame for this condition!

One of the greatest cons pulled was to get us all worried about a handful of assylum seekers / Illegal immigrants - when they are encouraging far more significant numbers to come over on a legal basis to work fully aware of the economic reality that our wages will (In real terms) contract!
