Those of you with kids, when have you had a 'Proud Parent' moment ?

I recently had a flurry of moments where in the space of a week all three of my kids were involved in something that made me stand back and say " it's great to be a Dad"

This happened last week ...
No.1 girl (14) had her first solo clarinet performance ... she was very nervous to the point of tears and then pulled it together and did her show.

No.2 girl (12) received an award for a school project. It was a power point presentation of our ancestoral home Dunbar Scotland.

Son (6) attended first ever cricket training and took to the bat with a flourish that had me moist eyed.

Man I love being a Dad.

Very Happy Hi ya I'm a proud parent too.My son who is 9 has always had trouble settleing at school and was often in trouble, however at the last parents evening we were told by his teacher that he had shown a big change in his behaviour, he is extremly itelligent, has amazing ideas, has the reading age of 12/13 and could be an author or a scientist when he grows up!!!

Being a parent is the hardest job in the world- but at times like the above it's the best job in the world Exclamation
